Harajuku shopping & lunch
I had a fantastic time with Maru-chan! She was incredibly thorough and well-researched, taking me thrift shopping in Harajuku. It was so much fun, and we had a great lunch with lots of great conversation. She’s very nice and easy to talk to. I highly recommend her as a guide 😊
A family adventure in Tokyo
Maruchan was a great tour guide for us on short notice.
She was organized and attentive to our desires for our “dream” 2 days in Tokyo. She was pretty flexible with our itinerary when it went a little different than planned. A good mix of cultural, shopping and other experiences.
Our adult and teen kids all got along with her great and she was super attentive to their needs and engaging with them.
Tokyo is navigable on your own, but with Maruchan the stress level went down and it was nice to hear explanations of things that as a visitor you just don’t know.... Until you have Maruchan to explain it to you. Our family looks forward to more visits to Japan with Maruchan.

I loved our tour around Tokyo with Maruchan! She was the sweetest girl ever! My favorite things were all the food we had with her and thrifting. A first solo trip to Japan
Maruchan is prepared and proactive guide. As a first time solo female traveler to Japan, she shared a well thought out introduction tour to Tokyo. She communicated early and was flexible when I was listening at the train station. Highly recommend Maruchan and her service to those visiting!
Asakusa & Kuramae at my pace
I had a lovely time with Maruchan today. After listening to my wishlist she has personalized a tour for me set at my pace and interest. We visited iconic sites such as Senso-ji temple and Nakamise shopping street as well as had a more local stroll around Kuramae area.
